Statement of Faith

What We Believe: Foundations of Our Faith

The One True God

We recognize and worship one God, infinitely perfect and eternal. He manifests Himself in three distinct but inseparable persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; John 4:24.

Jesus Christ: God and Man

We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity. Being eternal God, He became man through the work of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. In Him, two perfect natures coexist: He is true God and true Man, the only bridge between God and humanity.

Matt. 1:20-23; Phil. 2:6-11; 1 Pet. 3:18.

The Redeeming Sacrifice and the Coming King

We hold that Jesus died on the cross in our place; the Just paying for the unjust. His shed blood is the only thing that justifies us. We believe in His physical resurrection, His ascension to heaven where He intercedes for us today, and in His glorious return to establish His Kingdom of justice and peace.

Rom. 5:8-9; 1 Cor. 15:4; Heb. 8:1; Acts 1:11.

The Holy Spirit Within Us

We believe in the active presence of the Holy Spirit. He is the one who convicts the world of its need for God, regenerates the repentant, and dwells within the believer to sanctify, guide, and empower them to live a life that honors Christ.

John 14:16-17; John 16:7-11; Acts 2:38.

The Word of God as Authority

We accept the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments as the inspired Word of God. The Bible is our only infallible rule of faith and conduct, being the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of human beings.

2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:19-21; John 17:17.

Human Reality and Salvation

Man was created in the image of God but fell through disobedience, facing physical and spiritual death. Only through the work of Christ on the cross can we be cleansed of sin and delivered from eternal condemnation. To reject this sacrifice is to remain in a state of eternal separation from God.

Gen. 1:26-27; Rom. 3:23; Rom. 6:23; Rev. 21:8.

The Gift of Eternal Life

Salvation has been provided for all humanity from eternity. By repenting and accepting Jesus by faith as Lord and Savior, we are born again by the Holy Spirit, becoming children of God and heirs of eternal life.

John 1:12; John 3:16; Titus 3:4-7.

A Sanctified Life

It is God's will for every believer to live filled with the Holy Spirit, set apart from the practice of sin and consecrated to the service of the Kingdom. This life of holiness is a continuous experience that enables us to be effective witnesses.

Eph. 5:18; Rom. 12:1-2; 1 Pet. 1:15-16.

Healing and the Power of God

We believe that Jesus' sacrifice also provided for the healing of the body. We practice prayer for the sick and anointing with oil, believing that God continues to perform miracles in response to the faith of His Church.

Isa. 53:4-5; James 5:13-16.

The Church: The Body of Christ

The Church is not a building, but the assembly of all those redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Under Christ as our head, we are commissioned to go into all the world, baptizing and making disciples. We celebrate the Lord's Supper and Baptism as sacred ordinances of fellowship and obedience.

Matt. 28:18-20; Eph. 1:22-23; 1 Cor. 11:26.

Our Glorious Hope

We firmly believe in the rapture of the Church and in the imminent, personal, and visible second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. This truth drives us to live with excellence, urgency, and unshakable faith while we await His return.

1 Thess. 4:16-17; Rev. 1:7; Luke 21:27.
